The Mirage is an easy disc to control and makes a great NEWBIE disc. Also, this is an awesome [1-DISC for the Round] disc. It’s a disc that can be thrown off the Tee, thrown for the approach, and then thrown for IN for the Putt.

Why is a Mirage the perfect Disc For Kids? The Mirage is a SMALL Diameter Under-stable disc with a small front lip, and therefore, it will be easy for little disc golfers to grab onto and throw. The Mirage will glide easily and can be turned-over easily, which makes it great for less powerful throwers.

Mirage ~ THROWING IS BELIEVING!

For a reference-frame, the Mirage is under-stable, so it will fly similar to your beat-up Star Stingray. It has plenty of Glide [4] and Turn [-3] that keeps it tracking forward in a straight line. A Mirage will turn-over, when thrown with power, for a long way. You will be able to throw the Mirage smooth and straight, when you finesse the Mirage. If turned over slightly, the Mirage will hold a nice Anhyzer all the way through its flight.
